The Auditorio Axa Winterthur provides Barcelona with facilities that can accommodate many possibilities, designed for both the business world as well as for leisure and culture. It is incorporated into the L'Illa Diagonal shopping centre, one of the city's most frequented, and has become an architectural benchmark. It is divided into three different areas: a café with outstanding views to the outside; a more private space, the bright and open foyer; and the auditorium, with capacity for 620 people and services for persons with a disability. It is located in an easily accessible, upscale area of the Les Corts neighbourhood between various landscaped spaces, such as Turó Parc and the Camp de Sarrià gardens. This area also has numerous high-end shops and other shopping centres.
