The use of the website and the application is subject to the following conditions of use. Please read them carefully.
The fact of accessing the web and/or the application and using the materials contained in them implies that you have read and accepted these conditions:
1.1 The GSAS material may be modified, developed or updated without prior notice.
1.2 The links that contain the website and / or the application can lead the user to other sites, and / or applications managed by third parties, over which GSAS does not exercise any type of control.
GSAS does not take responsibilities of the content nor of the status of said sites, web pages and applications, and access to them. It does not imply that GSAS recommends or approves their content.
2.1 Whoever uses the website and / or the application does so at their own risk; GSAS is not responsible for the errors that can occur because of the content. GSAS is not responsible for any damages derived from the use of the web and / or the application, or for any action taken on the basis of the information that they facilitate.
2.2 GSAS does not guarantee the absence of viruses or other harmful elements that could cause damages in the computer system, in the electronic documents or in the files of the user of the website and / or the application. GSAS doesn’t take any responsibility for damages and losses that such elements could cause.
3.1 The information that GSAS receives from the users of the website and / or the application through the subscription to promotional events are treated with the utmost confidentiality in order to assist participants in the event and send them information about next steps, upcoming meetings, prizes, surveys. The information received is not used for any other purpose.
We collect personal information in the following ways:
Information that you provide us directly: purchase event ticket from us, subscribe to our newsletters and mailing lists, participate in promotional offers, competitions or prize drawings, fill in forms, respond to surveys, or use any other features of our website, make an inquiry, provide feedback, submit correspondence, or make a complaint over the phone, by email, on our website or by post, register for, our events and conferences, scan your attendance badge at any of the booths at our conferences/events, 'follow', 'like', post to, or interact with, our social media accounts, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram.
The information you provide to us will include (depending on the circumstances): identity and contact data: title, names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers or your signature. Account profile data: a username/display name, user preferences. Conference registration details: the company/organization you work for, job title/position, language preferences, your name, your email, your age, your gender, your job function, your experience, your opinions and why you are attending the conference and what you hope to learn, your accessibility needs. Financial data: payment details, which may include billing addresses, credit/debit card details and bank account details. Visual and audio information about yourself: e.g. a photo or video footage, or sound recording.
3.1.2 We consider your personal information to be a vital part of our relationship with you and do not sell your personal information to third parties. There are, however, certain circumstances in which we may share your name, photo and professional description: mention it on the GSAS website, share it with GSAS sponsors and attendees.
3.1.3 You have certain rights in respect of the information that we hold about you, including: the right to be informed of the ways in which we use your information, as we seek to do in this Privacy Policy, the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes.
3.2 Under the provisions of article 22 of Law 34/2002 of July 11, Services of the Information company and Electronic Commerce, GSAS may use storage devices and recovery of data (“cookies”) on terminal equipment of the recipients, provided that they have given their approval after they have been provided with clear and complete information about their use. The users can obtain all the information about the purpose of the installation of the cookies and the uses in the Cookies Policy of GSAS.
It shall not prevent the possible storage or access to it with the purpose of transmitting communication via an electronic communications network or the provision of a service requested by the recipient.
3.3 When personal information is requested for the provision of services, the user will be informed of the necessity that are considered essential. If these mandatory data are not provided, it will not be possible to provide such services.
3.4 The user may request the rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition by sending a request to gsas@apiumhub.com or by postal mail to the address indicated at the beginning of this document. An application must indicate the name and surname of the user, address for the purposes of notifications, photocopy of the Document of Identity or passport and an indication of the right.
4.1 During our event photographers and videographers may take pictures and videos of speakers, exhibitors and attendees. Those pictures may be used in our folders, brochures, website and social media page of the event concerned for promotional purposes and to enable you to view pictures of your participation to the event. We video record the presentations of our summits. Those videos are used for post event replay of the summit and added to our YouTube channel.
4.2 We deem it to be one of our legitimate interests to communicate with our customers (e.g. attendees, speakers, sponsors, providers…). Therefore, we may send you information about our services, news and future conferences if we consider you as a part of our customer base. If you no longer want to receive our communications, you can unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe link contained at the bottom of any marketing email we send to you and following the instructions which appear in your browser following your clicking on that link.
4.3 GSAS facilitates attendees to freely share their identification and contact information with sponsors. This does not include any financial information or additional data than the one provided during ticket acquisition. Attendees choose the sponsors we share their personal data with. By downloading GSAS app attendees receive a QR-Code. The sponsors are able to scan this QR-code which contains personal information of the attendees with a purpose to be able to run raffles and identify the winner. Attendees are responsible for requiring each one of the sponsors they interact with the respective data policies.
